The campus is already alive with energy for our annual Picnic Day!
Today we plan to welcome an estimated 75,000 visitors to Picnic Day events like the parade, the Doxie Derby, the Fashion Show and the Chemistry Magic Show—all long-time favorites at this great event!
Many of the colleges and schools that host Picnic Day’s most beloved activities also take part in Give Day to fund their most important initiatives like scholarships, student support and research programs.
Today is also our 10th annual Give Day, our fundraising event that empowers everyone on campus to raise crucial funds for scholarships, research, student needs and more!

Your support this Give Day helps our incredible faculty and student researchers advance research that makes a real difference.
For example, Associate Professor and Chancellor’s Fellow Crystal Rogers studies axolotls and their remarkable regenerative abilities. The work she and her students are doing today will help inform future research on cancer and other diseases.
Hands-on research opportunities like these play a critical role in preparing our students for their future careers. Aggie parents especially value these experiences, knowing their students are learning directly from faculty and graduate researchers who are leaders in their fields.
