Join us to support the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing during Give Day 2026
Thanks to the unwavering support of our generous donors, the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis is shaping the next generation of health care leaders. As one of the few graduate nursing schools dedicated to driving change in areas where it’s needed the most, we go beyond traditional clinical training. Our comprehensive programs empower the future of health care and prepare future nurses, physician assistants, family nurse practitioners, and researchers.
Support the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing Annual Fund to help provide financial support to students, support faculty, and enhance the learning environment for the school’s interprofessional programs.
The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing Student Hardship Fund provides support to students who face unexpected challenges so they can focus on their education.
The Nurse Practitioner Scholarship Fund supports students in the Doctor of Nursing Practice — Family Nurse Practitioner Degree Program to advance health and well-being across populations and throughout the lifespan.
A gift to the Simulation Technology Fund enhances the learning experience for clinical students at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing. With advanced simulation technology, students practice critical skills on life-like mannequins with realistic heart-rate and breathing capabilities, preparing them to become exceptional health care leaders.
The Family Caregiving Institute is committed to enhancing the well-being of family caregivers. Your gift strengthens health care professionals’ ability to support family caregivers and provides vital education and training to empower caregivers in their crucial roles.
The Sandy Smoley Endowed Award provides flexible financial support to one or more students. Established to remove barriers and open doors, this award may be used wherever student need is greatest. Through this endowed award, Sandy Smoley’s legacy continues to create opportunity, encourage persistence, and help students succeed—now and for generations to come.
