About

Support UC Davis and UC Davis Health for Give Day and Employee Giving Month!

Davis as UC it encourages all of our employees to support an area of UC Davis or UC Davis Health that is personally meaningful to them. There are many programs, scholarships and research projects that are very deserving of your support, and a gift of any size makes a big difference.

Gifts can be given on Give Day and during Employee Giving Month each April. Another option is a monthly payroll deduction, which offers the steady support our programs need most.

There are many deserving places at UC Davis that would benefit from your support and a gift of any size makes a difference.

A few common areas of support are listed below, including information on an important challenge gift from the UC Davis Emeriti Association.

The Aggie Compass Housing Support Fund supports emergency housing for students through the College Focused Rapid Rehousing program. Many of our UC Davis students report housing insecurity and/or homelessness. To combat this challenge, members of the UC Davis Emeriti Association board have committed $3,000 to benefit this fund for Give Day this year. Over the last five years, they have helped raise over $100,000 in support of this important effort and they have a continued commitment to this charge and supporting our students in need. Aggie Compass offers emergency housing support for students with extreme need and provides assistance with food and other basic needs. Your gift to our challenge will directly impact some of our most vulnerable students!

Veterinary Medicine Compassionate Care funds provide pet owners with financial support when their pets need unexpected veterinary care.

Student Emergency Relief Aid (SERA) provide students with small financial awards that help them get through financial emergencies. Things like car repair, rental support, losing a job, medical costs and other emergencies can spring up suddenly and derail a student’s path to graduation. SERA awards are available to cover those challenging times.

The list above is just a small sampling of the many, many areas of campus that would benefit from your support. And a gift of any size truly makes a difference to these programs.

Thank you for your support, now and always.
