The 2023-24 season saw the Aggies advance to the Big West Championship Final, with the entire graduating senior class signing professional contracts. Among those notable seniors was Elijah Pepper becoming the program’s all-time leader in steals and points.

This success and momentum has carried over into the 2024-25 season, where the Aggies have created even more memorable moments and achievements.

One of the shining moments this season was the victory over Grand Canyon University, where we snapped their 18-game home winning streak, the seventh-longest home winning streak in the country at the time.

Additionally, TY Johnson has put the Aggies on the map, earning national recognition throughout all phases of the season, and even being named an Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week early in the year. He has been playing at a high level, breaking the single-season steals record in UC Davis' Division I history and has been within the top-10 nationally in scoring average for the entirety of the year.

So far this year, we have battled relentlessly in the competitive Big West Conference, with season sweeps over UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly, and Cal State Fullerton, while also picking up big wins against UC Riverside and Long Beach State to clinch another postseason berth into the Big West Championships.

With that success in the Big West, we also are excited to announce our transition to the Mountain West Conference in two years, which will provide new and exciting opportunities and challenges for our program. Recently, we had the opportunity to host a nationally televised game, showcasing not only our team's talent and dedication to a broader audience but also our program’s commitment to representing such an esteemed university.
