At the UC Davis Ice Hockey Team, our dedicated group of student-athletes sustains a high-caliber, fully student-run competitive collegiate club. By providing an accessible athletic program, our organization allows dedicated Davis students to continue pursuing their passion for the sport at a highly competitive level.

Primarily led by students and alumni, the club works tirelessly to offset the inherently high costs associated with ice hockey. Between expensive gear, continuously rising league fees, and the premium cost of renting ice time, the financial demands of the sport are immense. We ensure that these overwhelming operational expenses do not become a barrier, allowing our full-time students to remain on the ice and focus on their education.

The team plays a key role in student development. Our players range from freshmen to graduate students, and each of them are subject to gaining invaluable leadership experience, learning the importance of teamwork, discipline, and campus pride both in the rink and in the classroom.

Our goal is to ensure that the heavy financial burden of the sport does not prevent dedicated players from competing. A gift to our campaign directly funds our season operations. Your contribution funds team equipment such as jerseys, secures the essential ice time needed for practice, and helps cover the extensive travel logistics required for away games against other schools.
