Join us to support the Moot Court at UC Davis fund

Moot Court at UC Davis is a collegiate Moot Court team that competes as part of the American Moot Court Association (AMCA) national competition. We are a student-run organization that prepares pre-law and legal-interested students for the national Moot Court competition, where undergraduate students simulate arguing a fictitious case before the Supreme Court. We train students in constitutional law, legal reasoning, civic understanding, and appellate advocacy.

We compete in AMCA's Oral Advocacy and Brief Writing competitions, going against the top schools and university students. Our Oral Advocacy teams work towards improving their argumentation and public speaking, by delivering arguments in front of a panel of justices who interrupt to ask questions. Our Brief Writing teams develop case analysis and communication skills through writing an appellate brief. Since our program's founding in 2022, we have risen in ranks to 7th overall program in the nation and 2nd for appellate Brief Writing.

One obstacle significantly hinders our team’s advancement and cultivation: funding. Registration fees, travel, lodging, and other competition logistics are costly. Donations to our campaign will finance the necessary costs that come along with operating a successful team.

Through your support, our team members will have the means to participate and engage in the invaluable opportunities that Moot Court has to offer. Donors are not only supporting an undergraduate organization, but also investing in the next generation of lawyers, advocates, and public servants.
