The Environmental Policy and Management program provides advanced training applying environmental science to real-world policy and management issues. The program provides project-based learning opportunities through the Practicum and Policy Clinic, allowing students to gain critical analytical and problem-solving skills while tackling current interdisciplinary policy and management issues.

The Policy Clinic and Practicum often lead to exciting opportunities for students to deepen and extend their learning through collaboration with organizations and communities. Whether meeting with legislators, running a community meeting, or presenting at a professional conference, experiential learning provides students with crucial intangible skills needed to apply technical knowledge gained in the classroom.

We are raising $4,000 to develop an experiential learning fund, to support travel and other costs, including flights, lodging, registration fees, and transportation that come with hands-on opportunities. This support is critical given the financial strain many graduate students face, and having a dedicated fund allows students to participate in these immersive experiences.
