Davis Baja Racing

Join us to support the BAJA SAE Team Support fund

We are UC Davis Baja Racing, a passionate team of student engineers competing in the Baja SAE program where we test our skills and represent UC Davis at the national level. Each year, we face the incredible challenge of designing and building an offroad racecar from scratch.

Our team loves the thrill of racing and competition, but the Baja SAE program is so much more than that. This program allows us to apply our classroom knowledge to a real world design challenge. It also serves as a springboard for many of us to find future careers in automotive engineering.

Last year in Oregon, we placed 42nd in the endurance race. After learning valuable lessons from our car in Arizona the year before, we completely redesigned it, pushing our design and manufacturing skills to the limit. And it paid off! Being able to make it through almost all of the events at competition was an incredible performance for our fledgling team.

This year, we’re eager to keep that momentum going, but we need your help! As a student organization, a lot of our funding comes from donations like yours. Gifts to our campaign provide general support for UC Davis Baja Racing, including our current priorities of paying for materials, tools, parts, and competition fees. Your donations, no matter how small, directly support up-and-coming engineers and drive both our car and the team forward.

All the students of the UC Davis Baja Racing team sincerely thank you for your support. Together, let's keep the spirit of innovation and competition alive and represent the best UC Davis engineering has to offer! Donate now!
