B-Hours: Engineering Solutions for Community Health

B-Hours is a student-led bioengineering organization at UC Davis dedicated to turning real healthcare challenges into practical solutions. Our members collaborate with local clinics, healthcare providers, and community partners to identify unmet patient needs and design devices that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Through hands-on prototyping and 3D printing, our students gain invaluable engineering experience while working on projects with genuine real-world impact. Gifts to our campaign provide general support for B-Hours, including our current priority of paying for materials and equipment essential to bringing these projects from concept to reality: prototyping supplies, electronics components, and testing costs. Additional funding will also allow our members to participate in engineering design competitions, where they can showcase their work and connect with the broader biomedical engineering community.
