Join us to support the UC Davis Western Equestrian Club

The UCD Western Equestrian Club is a student run club that prioritizes inclusivity and accessibility. Our club’s goal is to help people of all animal experience levels to learn how to ride the western discipline and possibly even compete in recognized horse shows.

Working with horses helps our members to gain useful life skills such as responsibility, confidence, and the ability to work as a team. Our club has helped many people to discover the sport of horseback riding and continue it after college as either a hobby or their career!

We are currently the most affordable equestrian club on campus, as well as the only equestrian club accepting beginner riders. We strive to reduce membership fees each year to make us even more accessible and your support is essential to helping us achieve this goal. Helping us cover some of our riders’ horse-use fees will allow us to put more funds towards travel expenses, equipment, and Blossom Classic, our annual fundraising show.

Your gift provides general support that will allow us to keep doing what we love and allow us to continue to teach new members the skill of horseback riding and animal handling. Donations of all sizes are appreciated, and by donating as little as $25 you can help us pay the club’s portion of one member’s horse-use fees for a quarter.
