Join us to support the Mock Trial Team Support fund
Mock Trial at UC Davis is a collegiate mock trial program that competes against teams from across the nation. We are a completely student-run organization, assisted by volunteer attorney and law student-coaches. Our program ranks in the top five teams in California, and top 30 teams in the nation, out of more than 700 competing programs.
Mock Trial is a competitive activity that provides students with the opportunity to learn about advocacy skills, legal processes, courtroom procedure and techniques. Each year, students receive a hypothetical case and construct both the plaintiff's (or prosecution's) and defendant's side of the case, and compete against other colleges and universities' teams in a simulation of a real-life trial. Mock Trial is a great opportunity for individuals to demonstrate and refine public speaking, analytical, and acting skills.
Your donation will contribute to the continued success of our mock trial program, which has climbed significantly in the national ranks over the last few years, representing UC Davis in competitions around the nation. By utilizing your funds, we will continue our mission of helping students hone invaluable skills and experiences in communication, teamwork, and professionalism. Our program pursues this goal within our team, as well as by hosting an annual tournament that draws up to three hundred participants from institutions across the country.
