The UC Davis Light Festival Planning Committee is raising funds for the 3rd Annual UC Davis Light Festival. The festival centers light as a metaphor for unity, healing, and visibility across the SWANA (Southwest Asian and North African), MENASA (Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian), and AandPI (Asian Pacific Islander) communities.
Organized by the Cross Cultural Center, Light Festival brings together students, staff, faculty, and community members through food vendors, cultural performances, visual art installations, and interactive activities. More than just an event, it is a space for cross-cultural solidarity and community joy.
We’re seeking additional funding to cover essential operations costs that directly support student performers, community artists, and cultural activities, ensuring the event remains accessible to all.
