Empowering Violently Injured Youth through Wraparound Power of Exposure events

Join us to support the Wraparound Youth Violence Intervention Program fund

Donations made to our project will directly fund Wraparound Peer Support Groups and Power of Exposure events. The UC Davis Health Wraparound Violence Intervention Program provides vital recovery support for youth and young adults who have been injured by violence. Additionally, the community may feel the impact of violence, causing a ripple effect on family and friends of those injured. Our program guides these young people towards healing and empowerment through mental health services, case management, and mentorship. Our Peer Support Groups and Power of Exposure events are a critical part of empowering these young people to break cycles of violence and find purpose and propel them into their future. Power of Exposure events offer Wraparound participants opportunities to explore new experiences and life skills under the mentorship of our Violence Prevention Professionals. We encourage community connections and empower youth recovering from violence related injuries to build a support network, and confidence to move forward. Together, we can create pathways for Sacramento’s youth to recover, rise, and succeed. Your donations will be used to purchase food and supplies for our Peer Support Groups, transportation for participants to travel to and from events, admission fees for Power of Exposure events like attending sporting events, and hygiene kits for unstably housed participants, and more. Your support gives them an opportunity to equip themselves with the tools and confidence to thrive for a lifetime.
