Aggies Helping Aggies, UC Davis’ official Student Foundation, is dedicated to promoting philanthropy on campus. We believe in the power of giving and it’s profound impact on our community here on campus.

Through the Student Emergency Relief Aid (SERA) award fund, you have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of fellow students facing financial emergencies. Whether it’s covering tuition gaps, preventing evictions, or paying medical bills, your support can be the deciding factor in a student’s ability to continue their education.

From Crisis to Congress, Patricia Garcia, a SERA recipient:

“The stress of paying a medical bill was lifted off my shoulders,” Garcia says. “With the SERA award, I could focus on my assignments and was accepted into The Washington Program with a congressional internship.”

Supporting Family, Therek Quevedo, a SERA recipient:

“Circumstances caused me to take custody of my younger sister. To support both of us, I was going to have to take a full-time job and drop out of school. Quevedo shares. “Because of SERA, I was able to continue my education and finish my senior year while providing for my family.”

These are just a couple stories from SERA recipients. Since 2011, more than 350 UC Davis students have received emergency relief thanks to donors like you who generously fund the SERA program. 100% of donations goes directly to Aggies in need.

Donations to our project provide emergency funding to students to cover food, rent, tuition and other essential costs not covered by other programs.
