Who We Are:
Mock Trial at UC Davis addresses the critical need to provide practical and hands-on learning for undergraduate students on campus. Our program is committed to equipping undergraduates with tangible legal skills by simulating mock legal cases and battling them out in the courtroom. During the competitive season, our team travels to universities across the country, including UCLA, UC Berkeley, and Stanford University.
On a fundamental level, Mock Trial at UC Davis fills a crucial gap in the educational roadmap for undergraduate students, complementing their existing studies and providing real-world opportunities to understand firsthand the duties and responsibilities of practicing attorneys. Our members apply the skills they have gained through this program and confront challenges head-on, both within the courtroom and beyond.
Our Goal:
Mock Trial at UC Davis is an entirely student-run organization, and all of our funds come from grants, dues, and fundraisers. Our goal is to raise $1000 for this upcoming season. It is quite expensive to send teams to nationally organized competitions, which is why we depend on your help to support us!
Your Impact:
Your donations are the backbone of our program, and without them we would not be able to offer students the opportunity of gaining invaluable legal experience. Donations provide general support to the Mock Trial team, including our current goal of sending our teams to competitions and ensuring that we can continue equipping the next generation of attorneys with the launch point for their future careers!
