We are the Google Developer's Student Club, a home-grown, student-led organization here at UC Davis. In a sea of tech clubs on campus, you might wonder what sets us apart. The world of tech is extremely competitive and most doors are closed to students who want to step into this rather intimidating world. Our mission is to open that first door and guide students through the challenging initial steps of their professional journeys.

Through a year-long mentorship program, we equip students with the essential skills and experiences they need to thrive, embracing the adage, 'you need experience to get experience.' Last year, our cohort of 102 students collaborated on over 20 impactful projects, including an early skin cancer detection program and a health tracking app. We also host panels, conferences, and networking events to foster professional growth and community connection.

Gifts to our project provide general support for the Google Developer Student Club, including our current priority of expanding our programs, providing more resources, and reaching even more students. With your help, we can create more opportunities for hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development. Together, we can empower the next generation of tech leaders at UC Davis.
