may be unmet by other funding sources.

The UC Davis School of Medicine is a nationally recognized leader in training the physician workforce our communities need. Forty-four percent of our incoming students are first-generation college graduates and 80% come from disadvantaged backgrounds – which means their financial needs are greater. The Dean’s Student Assistance Fund provides essential financial support to medical students facing unforeseen crises, ensuring they can continue their education and training.
