Outdoor Adventures' Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The Outdoor Adventures (OA) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Fund provides equitable access to OA trainings, programs, and experiences through the creation of an endowment.

Over the past 45+ years, OA, a nationally recognized program, has developed aspiring and devoted leaders by connecting people to nature through our outdoor programs, guide schools, and leadership training. Unfortunately, not everyone has equal access - and divisions between those with and without often fall along borderlines between racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. To improve diversity and access, OA is creating an endowment that will provide funding in perpetuity to offer students from underrepresented communities scholarships and fee waivers for our programs. For the endowment to begin and for OA to succeed in providing equitable access to our programs in perpetuity, we must raise at least $50,000 by June 2026. So far, we have raised over $40,000. If we don't reach this goal, your donation will still support OA's DEI, but will not provide support in perpetuity.
