This campaign has ended. However, you may still support the UC Davis Mental Health Conference Support Fund here.
The Mental Health Initiative (MHI) is a student-run unit under the Associated Students, UC Davis (ASUCD) that aims to engage students in destigmatization and education efforts surrounding mental health. Through these efforts, MHI encourages students to participate in mental health discussions, ultimately creating a more supportive and inclusive campus community.
Each year, we host a variety of events related to mental health with our main event being the Annual UC Davis Mental Health Conference. In addition to being the largest student-run mental health conference in California, this year marks the 10th anniversary of its occurrence. This event brings together UC Davis students, professionals, and community members for a full day of keynote speakers, workshops, panelists, wellness activities, and a resource fair.
Accessibility is a priority for our conference. We are committed to keeping the conference free for all attendees to ensure that financial barriers do not limit the access to mental health information and support.
Donor support is essential to the long-term success of MHI and most importantly our Mental Health Conference. Donations to our campaign will provide general support for the conference, including our current priorities of paying for speaker fees, wellness activities and event logistics.
With your support, MHI can continue to host impactful events that not only strengthens student wellness but also our Davis community.
