This campaign has ended. However, you may still support the Global Programs Student Activities fund here.
Have you ever imagined a life-changing, transformative experience that would shift your perspective or change your professional trajectory. Since 2014, the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine’s Office for Global Programs has opened doors for students and faculty to engage with the world beyond their campus.
A globally engaged experience is more than travel. It’s immersing in new cultures—listening, learning, and building understanding across cultures. They give students a ground-level view of global challenges and reveal how human, animal, and environmental health are deeply interconnected.
The Office for Global Programs facilitates experiences like these for our students. Through international education, research, and service, we prepare students to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges with knowledge, innovation, and compassion.
To date, more than 250 UC Davis veterinary students have stepped beyond the classroom into globally engaged experiences that shape their careers - and their lives. More than 25 faculty members have explored new research and teaching collaborations with partners around the world.
Your gift helps ensure that more students can access transformative, globally relevant experiences. From contributing to One Health initiatives in East Africa, to supporting wildlife conservation in Latin America, to learning firsthand about livestock health systems in Asia, students gain practical skills while developing cultural humility and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Every dollar makes a difference. Your support empowers UC Davis veterinary students and faculty to lead, serve, and innovate across cultures and borders. We invite you to give generously—any amount helps.
