Formula Racing at UC Davis is a student-run club focused on building a formula-style race car each year. Using industry-level techniques, designs, and manufacturing processes, our team encourages hands-on learning and provides students with valuable career skills. Every year, our team works tirelessly to build a car worthy of international competition, but it is not just feats of engineering that can get us there.

Donations provide general support for Formula Racing at UC Davis, including our current priority of sending members to Formula SAE Michigan. Taking place in June, this competition is a unique opportunity to gain industry-level feedback and grading criteria from professionals in the very fields our members aspire to. We strive to protect our members from paying these costs out of pocket, making opportunity affordable, but restricting participation due to how many members we can afford to send on the club’s budget.
