This campaign has ended. However, you may still support the Cyclone Robosub Fund here.
Our mission is to create an encouraging environment for UC Davis students to explore robotics and hone their engineering and research skills through hands-on work. By supporting the project, donors are not only making an investment in the engineers of tomorrow, but also in the future of engineering education and innovation!
In addition to the development of our competition vehicle, Cyclone RoboSub organizes training to teach students the basics of robotics through collaborative, hands-on workshops. Our team also tackles environmental challenges by organizing field deployments where we can use our vehicle to gather environmental data.
By supporting our project, you can provide UC Davis students with this unique hands-on learning opportunity. Donations provide general support for Cyclone RoboSub, including our current priority of purchasing components and materials for our 2026 competition vehicle, such as electrical systems, processors, stock materials, and underwater thrusters. Your support allows us to be ambitious with our designs to be competitive and represent the Davis community as we compete against the 60 other teams within the competition.
Your support is crucial in positioning us for long-term success and ensuring we can continue representing the Davis community in future competitions.
We have smashed our goal of $3,000, and we hope you'll help us reach new depths.
Thank you so much to everyone who supported the campaign so far!
We’re setting a stretch goal of $4,000 to further support our current priority of purchasing components and materials for our 2026 and future competition vehicles.
