Who We Are
When Dr. Paul Hom saw a problem, he envisioned a solution. In 1971, he founded a free clinic in response to immigrant families in Sacramento struggling to obtain adequate healthcare. For over 50 years, the Paul Hom Asian Clinic has been on a mission to provide primary care with language interpretation services for patients in need, all at no cost.

Our Project Goals
Dr. Hom’s enduring legacy of giving back to the community relies on health professionals, medical students, and undergraduate students that take time out of their weekend to address the needs of our patients.

We are hosting Health Fair 2025, our largest, student-run event of the year, at the UC Davis Medical Center. The goal of this event is to recruit over 100 patients from our community to not only address the medical disparities but also build connections with members of Sacramento. As a token of our appreciation, our event also offers free food, entertainment, and care bags for our patients.
