Support the Josh Project Support Fund!
The Josh Project was developed as a means to alleviate stress for hospitalized children and the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine Chapter of the Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA) adopted this project as an effort to reduce the gap between veterinary medicine and the surrounding community. Small groups of students visit the UC Davis Children’s Hospital and Sutter Children’s Center in Sacramento twice per semester, bring plush toys and kits, and teach the children about veterinary medicine. We are fundraising with the goal of purchasing a greater quantity and variety of supplies, ideally including stuffed animals with battery-powered heart beats, coloring books, and doctor play kits. We bring new and sterile supplies each visit, so if we can purchase more, we can visit the children more often and bring better supplies each time.
Thank you again to all of the donors that have helped us pass over $1000! Every time I see how much money we have raised I get reminded of all of the children we can truly help moving forward. Please continue donating and spreading the word so that we can make the biggest impact we can!
