The UC Davis CalTeach/MAST program inspires, prepares, and supports future STEM teachers by providing STEM majors with hands-on teaching internships and seminar-style courses. Our mission is to increase the number, quality, and diversity of STEM teachers entering the workforce—a crucial goal given the national shortage of K-12 math and science teachers.
This year, we are raising funds to provide two $2,000 awards to outstanding UC Davis STEM students—one majoring in mathematics and one in science or engineering—who have been accepted into the UC Davis Teacher Education Program for Fall 2025. These awards will not only offer financial support during their demanding credential year but also recognize their exceptional preparation as undergraduates.
