Support the Tau Beta Pi Fund!

We are the California Lambda chapter of Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Honor Society. We are the second oldest honor society and the oldest engineering honor society in the US. We mark in a fitting manner those who have conferred honor upon their Alma Mater by distinguished scholarship and exemplary character as students in engineering, or by their attainments as alumni in the field of engineering. Despite the Greek letters, we are not a fraternity.

We are fundraising to support outreach events on campus and in the community. We host tutoring nights where any student can come and get help with their STEM coursework, as well as professional development and networking events. Donations will support our outreach toward current and future engineering scholars who will make a lasting impact in academia or industry.

We will be spending the earnings from this fundraiser on items such as the following:
-Travel expenses for UC Davis students to attend tours of engineering facilities to enhance their engineering education.
-Inviting successful engineers to speaker events for curious students and materials for enhancing the experience and promotion of those events.
-Materials for awards events to honor great professors currently educating at UC Davis.
-Materials for networking events allowing Tau Beta Pi members at UC Davis to connect with neighboring universities’ Tau Beta Pi members.
-Materials to promote and improve our weekly tutoring events on campus.
-Materials to organize STEM outreach events with local high schools, including college prep workshops and hands-on engineering challenges.
